Why should I hire CancunVans.com as private transportation service?

 

You are coming to a foreign country and for your safety you need to know who is handling your transportation service in case of an unforeseen issue. If you hire a public transportation service you will never know the real name of the driver and if the hired service is provided by a legal company or by the ones commonly called pirates, often not insured or using old vehicles. With us everything is stored in a master database where we record the vehicle number, plates, drivers name, time departing the airport, drop off time at the hotel, etc. Remember is always better to pre-arrange your ground local transportation when you travel abroad. Not to mention our excellent rates..!

 

 

PRICES

Are your rates the same than the regular fees at the airport Taxis? No, our rates are lower, this is because we work on pre-booked reservations only and we don't have to pay expensive parking fees and fixed location rent at the airport, this allow us to have better prices and superior quality services than the regular transportation vehicles at the airport.

Do you offer discount for Travel Agents and Airline Employees? Due we have low prices we can not make an extra discount, but don’t worry we can guarantee you will get the best price than other local transportation company.

What is your policy for children? We  charge you per capacity of the  vehicle not per person, , children  are considered as adults, this is for seating purposes only

Driver tip included in your published prices? No, optional tip to the driver is not included, you can tip him if you think he deserves it depending on the service received. The only things included in the price are taxes, insurance and airport fees.

SAFE

Is it safe to travel with you? Absolutely, before we hire any member of our staff they need to pass several tests and present sufficient information about them, we request federal driver's license which is not easy to get, no criminal records certificate issued by the police, anti-doping tests and reference letters from local Transportation companies. Also our vehicles have full insurances cover, for all the passengers and luggage insurances.

Are you licensed to operate this service at the airport? Yes we do have license to operate in the tree airport terminals and have federal plates to transport passengers in all of Mexico's roads. All of our vehicles count with effective insurance policies, applicable permits and licenses. See a valid permit sample.

 Do you have children seats? Sure, children's safety comes first. We have 5 point children seats available upon request. Seats are suitable for children 0 to 3 years old

Do you have a Lost & Found department? As the best customer services, we check it, after each service every vehicle is carefully revised and if there was any article forgotten on board it is reported immediately to the operation's manager. Anyway if you forget something inside the vehicle we can send it to you via FEDEX or DHL, you'd have to pay the expenses of the parcel delivery service.

 

RESERVATION

How do I make a reservation? Please, fill out your request form at: www.cancunvans.com/request.html  and send it or if you wish to go to our easy reservation guide page please click here! As soon as you send it, we contact you to send your reference number to prepay your service by PAYPAL or if you selected payments by cash up on arrival method we will send your confirmation number, after this process you will receive your transfer vouchers to give it to your driver.

 How much time in advance do I need to make my reservation? We take reservations a full year in advance. Feel free to book with us as soon as you are ready, due you have to guarantee this special rate that change according the season eventually.

Should I call you to reconfirm my return service to the airport? This is not necessary if you booked a round trip service with us and we have confirmed it. Our scheduler will automatically remind us about your transfer to the airport. However, if you feel more comfortable contact us by phone to double check, we will be glad to attend you regarding this matter if you have any questions

Can I book a shared service? We are a private airport transportation company and we dont offer this service but for sure our prices are competitive as shared transportation prices.

Can you transport handicapped people?  Yes we can do that, we have a wheel chair ramp available upon request, we also can remove some seats from our vehicles to allow that special people to travel more comfortable.

What if I have a reservation confirmed and my flight is delayed? We verify with the airline 2 hours in advance if your flight is on time. if not, we will know exactly at what time it is going to arrive and we will be right there waiting for you. If your flight is cancelled for any reason please go to any internet service existing at most airports and email us to inform of your new arrival information or to cancel your reservation.

Can I rent your vehicles for hours or for private excursions? Yes, you can rent them for a minimum of 3 hours or take a private tour we can do that as well. In both cases we provide the driver

How can I cancel a confirmed reservation? The procedure is very easy, just send us an Email. Once you have send  your cancellation request we will review the status of your reservation and get back to you as soon as possible

 

PAYMENTS

Can I use my credit card to pay for my transfer? Absolutely, but only on line credit cards are accepted. if you choose to pay our driver upon arrival to Cancun he only takes cash To pay on line, please go to our Payments link when you receive your confirmation number.

I prefer to pay for the service when arrive to Cancun, can I do that? Yes, you can pay our driver in cash up to your arrival the 100% of your payment by cash, him can not accept credit card, after you will get a receipt of your payment.

ARRIVING

How do I locate your driver? In the three terminals buildings there is a meeting area where our driver will be waiting for you. He will be wearing our uniform (White shirt with the company name in the back and black pants) and will be provided with a CANCUN VANS sign with your name printed on it.  Our vehicles have also www.cancunvans.com on it.

Do your drivers speak English? Our drivers speak 90% English and the reservation staff and the operation's manager speak fluent English.

Could we make a stop in our transfer before arriving to our hotel to get cervezas, groceries or medicines? Yes, you can upon request. We grant up to 15 minutes waiting at no additional cost at 7eleven or similar but if you need more time for shopping in a different place, there is an applicable fee. You need to request the price for that special service.
